- Run a trace in the SQL Profiler, save it
- Load it into the Database Tuning advisor
- Let it analyze and recommend indexes
- In NAV, build keys in the dev environment to best meet the recommendations at your discretion
- Each key will build an appropriate index in sql
- DO NOT run the scripts and generate indexes outside of NAV
