Dynamics GP - dex.dic version 12.00.0196.000 is not compatible with executable version 12.00.0232.000

This error occurs when trying to install GP 2013 SP 1


  • Go to program files>GP 2013
  • rename the dex.dic to dex_old.dic
  • copy the dex_us.dic
  • rename the copy to dex.dic
  • rerun the service pack
