NAV - Jobs Module (Projects) Overview

• Can Create Jobs (Projects)
• Can create a Job Budget
• Can define job planning lines with each line item breakdown per item or resource
• Define costs and prices per line here
• Can assign Resources to Job
• Can Create Billable Job Tasks
• Can Generate Invoices per task, or for entire job with filters on tasks
• Can generate individual invoices (appear in standard Sales Invoice screen)
• Or can append lines to existing invoices
• From Purchase Order Line
• Can Assign Line item to a job
• Posting Purchase Invoice with a job assignment will post job journals against the job
• Define Resources and resource costs
• Resources Can enter timesheets to record resource billable time against project tasks
• Hours are posted as job journals against the job
• Does not have any links to Fixed Assets
• Does not have a separate Invoicing screen, uses standard invoice screens
• Does not have separate Contract management, but Job Structure is sufficient
• Does not automatically generate invoices
